The Full Story
I am a painter, recently of Taranaki and currently working in The Czech Republic with my wife and three daughters.
I produce works on canvas, often described as Abstract, Expressionist Surrealism.
I work in oils, spray paint and acrylic.
Much of my work over the past 30 years has involved the painting of murals. I was born in Exeter, England in 1976, we emigrated to Aotearoa in 1988 and spent most of the 90's in Wellington.
I studied after a fashion … at Marlborough Polytech in 1995, (when I took my first commission) and TLCs Erskine campus in 1998-99. I painted a lot of murals in the Wellington region in 2000-1, then I spent 2002 in Paris, France. 2003 in St Ives, England and 2004 in Canberra, Australia, returning to Wellington in 2005. I have been an independent full time Artist since 2006. Living and working in, but not limited to, Wellington, Mangawhai, Whanganui, Taranaki and Prague.
